Introduction to Phthalocyanine Pigments

Phthalocyanine pigments are water-insoluble organic compounds containing phthalocyanine molecules in their molecular structure. As a chromophore conjugated system, phthalocyanine is a cyclic alkene with 18 electrons in a polycyclic molecule formed by combining four indoles. Phthalocyanine pigments are bright in color, high in tinting strength, excellent in high temperature resistance and light resistance, fine in particle size, easy to diffuse and process and grind. It is mainly used in ink, iron printing ink, paint, painting watercolor, oil paint and paint printing, as well as the coloring of rubber and plastic products, and plays an important role in the dye industry.
